1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions of Use govern access to and use of the website www.parsican-wines.com (the “Website”).

By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, you should not use the Website.

2. Website Operator

The Website is operated by:

3. Purpose of the Website

Parsican Wines is a French wine sourcing and export company serving professional buyers, including wine importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, hospitality groups, hotels, restaurants and other professional operators.

The Website presents Parsican Wines’ activities, sourcing capabilities and access to French wine producers, estates and négociants.

The Website is primarily intended for business-to-business use. It is not an online shop, and wines cannot be purchased directly through the Website.

4. Parsican Wines’ Role

Parsican Wines may assist professional buyers by:

  • Identifying wines and producers according to a commercial brief;

  • Presenting sourcing opportunities;

  • Facilitating introductions and commercial discussions;

  • Coordinating requests for prices, samples, technical information and availability;

  • Supporting private-label, bespoke and export projects;

  • Assisting communications between buyers, producers, sellers and logistics partners.

The precise role of Parsican Wines in any transaction will be determined by the relevant quotation, order confirmation, mandate, invoice, agreement or other written commercial document.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, Parsican Wines does not act as the importer of record in the buyer’s country and does not assume the buyer’s regulatory, customs or tax obligations.

Depending on the transaction, the producer, négociant or other identified supplier may be the seller and contracting party responsible for the wines.

5. Remuneration and Potential Commercial Relationships

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Parsican Wines does not charge professional buyers a separate fee for initial sourcing assistance.

Parsican Wines may receive a commission, commercial fee or other remuneration from a producer, négociant, supplier or commercial partner in connection with an introduction or completed transaction.

Any service charged directly to a buyer will be subject to prior written agreement.

The existence of such remuneration does not guarantee the availability, suitability or performance of any particular product or producer.

6. Information Provided on the Website

Parsican Wines takes reasonable care to ensure that information published on the Website is accurate and up to date. However, this information is provided for general business and informational purposes only.

Descriptions, photographs, vintages, prices, certifications, scores, quantities, formats, packaging, minimum orders and availability may change at any time.

Nothing on the Website constitutes:

  • A binding commercial offer;

  • A guarantee of stock or allocation;

  • A confirmed quotation;

  • A contractual commitment;

  • Legal, tax, customs, regulatory or financial advice.

Users should obtain written confirmation of all relevant commercial and technical information before making a purchasing decision.

7. Requests, Quotations and Orders

Submitting an enquiry, sourcing brief, contact form or meeting request through the Website does not create a contract or oblige Parsican Wines to provide products or services.

Any selection, proposal or quotation subsequently provided is subject to:

  • Written confirmation of availability;

  • Acceptance by the relevant contracting parties;

  • Agreement on prices, quantities and minimum orders;

  • Agreement on payment and delivery terms;

  • Applicable taxes, excise duties and customs requirements;

  • Export and import regulations;

  • Any additional conditions stated in the quotation or contract.

A transaction becomes binding only when it has been accepted in accordance with the written commercial documents applicable to that transaction.

Where there is any conflict between these Website Terms and a signed agreement, accepted quotation, order confirmation or other specific commercial contract, the specific commercial document will prevail in relation to that transaction.

8. Product Information and Samples

Wine descriptions, tasting notes, ratings, photographs and producer information are provided for guidance only.

Bottle appearance, labels, packaging, vintages, closures and technical specifications may differ from images or descriptions displayed on the Website.

Where samples are supplied, they are provided solely for professional evaluation and remain subject to the conditions communicated at the time of shipment.

The buyer is responsible for verifying that the selected products, labels, packaging, documentation and certifications comply with the laws and commercial requirements of the destination market.

9. Importation and Regulatory Compliance

Professional buyers are responsible for determining and complying with all laws and regulations applicable to the purchase, importation, transportation, storage, advertising, distribution and resale of alcoholic beverages in their jurisdiction.

This may include obtaining appropriate licences, registrations, customs authorisations, excise arrangements, health documentation and label approvals.

Parsican Wines may assist with obtaining information or documents from a supplier but does not guarantee that a product will satisfy every regulatory requirement in the destination country unless expressly agreed in writing.

10. Legal Drinking Age

The Website concerns alcoholic beverages and is intended only for persons who have reached the legal drinking age applicable in their country of residence.

By using the Website, you confirm that you meet this requirement and, where relevant, that you are acting on behalf of a legitimate professional organisation.

Parsican Wines encourages the responsible consumption of alcohol.

11. User Responsibilities

When using the Website, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and lawful information;

  • Use the Website only for legitimate professional or informational purposes;

  • Refrain from impersonating another person or organisation;

  • Refrain from introducing viruses, malicious code or other harmful material;

  • Refrain from attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Website or its systems;

  • Refrain from extracting, reproducing or commercially exploiting Website content without permission;

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Parsican Wines may restrict or block access to the Website where misuse, unlawful conduct or a security risk is suspected.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its contents—including texts, graphics, photographs, illustrations, designs, databases, structure, branding and logos—are owned by or licensed to Parsican Wines and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view and download Website content for your own internal professional evaluation.

You may not reproduce, publish, modify, distribute, sell, license, scrape or commercially exploit any part of the Website without prior written permission from Parsican Wines or the relevant rights holder.

13. Third-Party Names, Brands and Content

Wine estate names, appellations, labels, bottle images, ratings, trademarks and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Their appearance on the Website does not necessarily imply an exclusive relationship, official endorsement or permanent availability.

Parsican Wines may remove or update references to third-party products or producers at any time.

14. External Links and Services

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including producer websites, booking platforms and professional resources.

Parsican Wines does not control these third-party services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.

Accessing a third-party website is at the user’s own discretion and subject to that third party’s terms and policies.

15. Website Availability and Security

Parsican Wines endeavours to keep the Website accessible and secure but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or continuously available access.

The Website may be suspended, restricted or modified for maintenance, security, technical or operational reasons without prior notice.

Users are responsible for protecting their own devices, systems and data when accessing the Website.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Parsican Wines shall not be liable for losses resulting solely from:

  • Temporary unavailability of the Website;

  • Reliance on general or outdated Website information;

  • Errors or omissions supplied by third parties;

  • Use of third-party websites or services;

  • Viruses or other harmful elements beyond its reasonable control;

  • Unauthorised or unlawful use of the Website.

Parsican Wines shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or purely commercial losses arising from the use of the Website, including loss of profit, opportunity, revenue, clientele or data, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Liability relating to a specific sourcing assignment, service or wine transaction will be governed by the written commercial terms applicable to that transaction.

17. Confidential Information

Information submitted through the Website will be handled with reasonable care.

However, users should not submit highly confidential information through a general contact form unless appropriate confidentiality arrangements have been agreed.

Where a sourcing brief, quotation, producer identity, price list, allocation or commercial proposal is identified as confidential, the recipient must not disclose or use it for purposes unrelated to the proposed transaction without authorisation.

A separate non-disclosure agreement may be used where a higher level of confidentiality is required.

18. Personal Data and Cookies

Personal data collected through the Website is processed in accordance with the Parsican Wines Privacy Policy.

The Website may also use cookies or similar technologies. Where required, users will be given the opportunity to accept, refuse or manage non-essential cookies.

19. Changes to These Terms

Parsican Wines may amend these Terms to reflect changes to the Website, its services, business practices or applicable laws.

The applicable version is the version published on the Website at the time of use. The date of the latest update appears at the beginning of this document.

Continued use of the Website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

20. Severability and No Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

Failure by Parsican Wines to exercise a right under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law.

The parties should first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably by contacting Parsican Wines.

Where legally permitted, and where the dispute is between parties acting in a professional or commercial capacity, the competent courts of Paris, France, shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

This provision does not affect any mandatory jurisdictional rules or any different dispute-resolution provisions agreed in a specific commercial contract.
